The kit that runs the venue
A hospitality venue runs on its plant and equipment — commercial kitchens and cool rooms, cellar and bar systems, gaming and AV, furniture and fit-out. It carries real value that owners, insurers, lenders and auditors need assessed independently and on the right basis.
What we value
- Commercial kitchens, cool rooms and cellar systems
- Bar, gaming and AV equipment
- Furniture, fixtures and fit-out
- Essential and building services
For what purpose
- Insurance / replacement (reinstatement)
- Asset finance and security
- SMSF and self-managed super
- Sale, purchase and financial reporting (fair value)
Our approach
We assess market or replacement value on the basis your purpose requires — item by item where needed — and document it clearly for your insurer, financier or auditor.
Common questions
Is this the same as an insurance valuation?
It can feed one. Plant & equipment can be valued on a market basis (what it would sell for) or a replacement basis (what it would cost to replace) — we assess on the basis your purpose requires.
Do you value fit-out and leasehold improvements?
Yes, where relevant — fit-out and improvements are often a significant part of a venue's plant.
Can you value the gaming machines too?
Yes; gaming equipment forms part of the plant, and where entitlements are involved we can value those separately.
